  • New Patient Exams : New patient appointments are scheduled for 60 minutes, as opposed to the industry standard of 30 minutes, to allow Dr. Hinkle to discuss your health goals in depth. Online booking and text reminders are also available.

Health History: Dr. Hinkle will begin by discussing your health history, including any current symptoms, past injuries, surgeries, and overall health concerns. This information helps him understand your unique health situation.

Physical Examination: A physical examination may be conducted to assess your posture, spinal mobility, and range of motion. Dr. Hinkle will use a variety of orthopedic and neurological tests to identify areas of concern.

  • Diagnosis: Based on your individual assessment, Dr. Hinkle will provide a diagnosis and a treatment plan.

Treatment Plan: At Orange County Chiropractic, treatment plans will always be individualized to you. The findings will be discussed and a treatment plan will be proposed. This plan may include chiropractic adjustments, exercises, stretches, or other interventions designed to address your specific issues and promote overall wellness.

  • Hands-On Adjustments: Chiropractic adjustments involve the application of controlled force to specific joints, usually the spine, to improve mobility. This may result in the characteristic popping or cracking sound.

Cox Flexion/Distraction Decompression Technique: Dr. Hinkle is the only certified provider in Orange County, Indiana. Cox Flexion and Distraction is a gentle manipulation utilized to manage conditions such as disc herniation, sciatica, and spinal stenosis, aiming to reduce pain, improve range of motion, and support overall spinal health.

Instrument-Assisted Adjustments: Dr. Hinkle may use specialized tools or instruments to perform adjustments, offering a gentler approach.

  • Postural and Lifestyle Advice: Dr. Hinkle will provide guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including proper ergonomics, exercises, and posture to support your overall well-being.

Home Exercises: You may be given specific exercises or stretches to do at home to complement your in-office treatment.

  • Follow-Up Visits: Depending on your condition, a series of visits may be recommended. Your progress will be monitored and any necessary updates to the treatment plan will be discussed.

Reassessment: Periodic reassessment and discussion of your symptoms and overall health will help determine the ongoing need for chiropractic care.

  • Open Dialogue: It's crucial to communicate openly with your chiropractor. If you have any concerns or if something feels uncomfortable during the treatment, don't hesitate to let us know.

Collaboration with Other Healthcare Providers: Dr. Hinkle may collaborate with your primary care physician or other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to your health.
